These are a few music posters that I designed. The left poster is for a folk and indie rock music event and the poster on the right is a music event for a metal band. I was able to use my illustration skills to create completely different styles, so each poster can appeal to its intended targeted audiences. The poster on the left is a group of guitars that I illustrated that consists of a grungy texture, and a natural pallet to evoke a vintage folk and indie style. In addition, the grungy texture helped the poster look like a traditional screen print. The right poster is an illustrated of the band Emmure. I created each band members as their own character. The art direction of the band was to include Japanese elements, as their tour was in Japan. Their specific request was to develop the artwork in an anime and ninja style theme. I illustrated all the members with traditional Japanese elements: a shuriken, kunai, and katana. The shuriken flying helps give the piece movement and more excitement. I created a Japanese pattern in the background to add depth in the picture. Using a cooler, dark and masculine color theme helped the viewer to see that the music was going to be heavy metal.
